The Lemosho Route is one of the most attractive routes on Kilimanjaro, passing through rainforest, heath, moorland, alpine desert, and glacial zones. The 6-day itinerary follows a faster ascent than longer versions, joining the Machame Route near Lava Tower. Accommodation is in tented camps on the mountain, with full support from professional guides, porters, and cooks to ensure safety and comfort throughout the trek.

Arrival Day in Tanzania

Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, you will be met and transferred to your hotel in Moshi or Arusha. After check-in, there will be a briefing and gear check. The rest of the day is free for rest and preparation

Day 01 :

Londorossi Gate to Mti Mkubwa Camp

Elevation: 2,100 m to 2,650 m
Distance: 6 km
Walking Time: 3–4 hours
Maximum Altitude: 2,650 m

The trek begins through rainforest, with a gentle ascent to Mti Mkubwa Camp.

Day 02 :

Mti Mkubwa Camp to Shira 1 Camp

Elevation: 2,650 m to 3,500 m
Distance: 8 km
Walking Time: 5–6 hours
Maximum Altitude: 3,500 m

The trail climbs out of the forest into heath and moorland, opening to wide mountain views

Day 03 :

Shira 1 Camp to Lava Tower to Barranco Camp

Elevation: 3,500 m to 4,600 m, then down to 3,960 m

A key acclimatization day using the climb-high, sleep-low approach.

Day 04 :

Barranco Camp to Barafu Camp

Climb the Barranco Wall and continue to Barafu Camp for summit preparation.

Day 05 :
